The ELX3184 is a 4-channel EtherCAT Terminal designed for the acquisition of intrinsically safe 0/4-20 mA analog current signals from sensors located in hazardous areas. It integrates robust isolation and intrinsic safety barriers, providing direct connectivity for Ex i field devices while ensuring deterministic data exchange via the EtherCAT protocol for process automation applications requiring ATEX and IECEx compliance.
