It processes safety signals from connected AS-i slaves and provides safe outputs, ensuring compliance with international safety standards up to Performance Level e (PLe) and Safety Integrity Level 3 (SIL3). Its primary function is to manage and evaluate safety circuits, facilitating rapid system shutdown or controlled stop in hazardous conditions.
