The KEYENCE ES-M2 is a miniature diffuse-reflective photoelectric sensor from the ES Series, designed for object detection in industrial automation environments. It utilizes a red LED light source and integrated optics to detect targets without requiring a separate reflector or receiver, providing a discrete NPN output for direct integration into PLC and control systems.
