The PEPPERL & FUCHS KFD2-SR2-EX1.W is a 2-channel intrinsic safety barrier from the K-System series, engineered to provide galvanic isolation and signal conditioning for NAMUR proximity sensors or mechanical contacts located in hazardous areas. It transmits discrete signals to the safe area via two potential-free relay outputs, ensuring reliable operation in process automation and safety-critical industrial applications.
