The PEPPERL & FUCHS KFD2-SR2-EX1.W is a two-channel isolated barrier from the K-System series, engineered for intrinsic safety applications in hazardous environments. It functions as a switch amplifier, providing galvanic isolation and reliable signal conditioning for discrete inputs from field devices in Zone 0/1/2 to control systems in the safe area. This module ensures compliance with explosion protection standards and maintains operational integrity for critical process signals.
