It enables the integration of up to eight K-System modules, connected to hazardous area field devices, into a standard PROFINET industrial Ethernet network. The gateway facilitates deterministic data exchange between intrinsically safe circuits and a PROFINET controller, ensuring reliable operation in process automation applications.
