This device is a single-channel intrinsic safety barrier from the K-System series, engineered to interface NAMUR proximity sensors or mechanical contacts located in hazardous areas with control systems in safe areas. It provides galvanic isolation and converts the hazardous area signal into a safe area relay output, ensuring compliance with intrinsic safety standards for explosion protection.
