This K-System isolated barrier functions as a PROFINET gateway, providing a direct interface for controlling two intrinsically safe field devices, such as solenoid valves or alarms, located in hazardous areas. It integrates seamlessly into PROFINET-based control systems, enabling deterministic communication and robust galvanic isolation between the safe and hazardous zones. Engineered for process automation applications requiring certified intrinsic safety.
