This K-System intrinsic safety barrier, identified as KFD2-SR2-EX1.W, is engineered to provide galvanic isolation and signal conditioning for binary inputs originating from hazardous areas. It facilitates the safe interface of NAMUR sensors or potential-free contacts located in Zone 0, 1, 2, 20, 21, or 22 with safe-area control systems, utilizing a single changeover relay output.
