This K-System series intrinsically safe NAMUR input isolator, identified as KFD2-CD-EX1.PN, is engineered for interfacing hazardous area field devices with safe area control systems via PROFINET. It provides galvanic isolation and converts signals from NAMUR proximity sensors or mechanical contacts into a digital PROFINET IO signal, ensuring compliance with explosion protection standards and enabling real-time process data acquisition.
