This K-System intrinsic safety barrier functions as a repeater power supply, designed to provide galvanic isolation and signal conditioning for NAMUR proximity sensors or switches located in hazardous areas. It ensures reliable signal transmission to the safe area while maintaining intrinsic safety, critical for process automation and safety instrumented systems.
