This is an intrinsically safe switch amplifier from the PEPPERL & FUCHS K-System KFD2 series, engineered for reliable signal conditioning and galvanic isolation between hazardous area field devices and safe area control systems. It provides two independent channels for connecting NAMUR proximity sensors or mechanical contacts, ensuring robust line fault detection and driving potential-free relay outputs for process control and safety applications.
