This K-System isolated barrier functions as a PROFIBUS PA segment coupler, facilitating the integration of intrinsically safe PROFIBUS PA field devices into a standard PROFIBUS DP control network. It provides galvanic isolation, power conditioning for PA devices, and data conversion, ensuring reliable and safe communication in hazardous area applications.
