This KFD2-SR2-EX1.W intrinsic safety barrier from the K-System series is a 2-channel switch amplifier designed for interfacing NAMUR proximity sensors or mechanical contacts situated in hazardous areas with control systems in safe areas. It provides galvanic isolation, comprehensive line fault detection, and two isolated relay outputs, ensuring robust signal conditioning and adherence to intrinsic safety standards for critical process automation applications.
