The PEPPERL & FUCHS KFD2-CD-EX1.32 is a single-channel isolated barrier from the K-System family, designed to provide intrinsic safety for digital inputs and outputs in hazardous areas. It functions as a switch amplifier for NAMUR sensors or mechanical contacts and as a solenoid driver for intrinsically safe actuators, ensuring reliable signal conditioning and galvanic isolation between field devices and safe area control systems. This module is critical for process automation applications requiring compliance with intrinsic safety standards.
