The PEPPERL & FUCHS KFD2-CD-EX1.32 is a K-System intrinsic safety barrier designed for galvanic isolation and signal conditioning of 4-20 mA analog signals originating from hazardous area field devices. It provides power to 2-wire or 3-wire SMART transmitters while safely transmitting process variables to safe area control systems. This module is critical for maintaining explosion protection in process automation applications.
