This intrinsically safe isolated barrier from the K-System KFD2 series functions as a single-channel switch amplifier, designed for reliable signal conditioning and galvanic isolation. It facilitates the interface of conventional switches and NAMUR proximity sensors located in hazardous areas with safe area control systems, ensuring compliance with intrinsic safety standards and robust process control.
