This K-System intrinsic safety barrier functions as a repeater power supply, engineered for the galvanic isolation and precise signal conditioning of analog input signals originating from hazardous areas. It provides intrinsically safe power to 2-wire or 3-wire transmitters located in Zone 0, 1, or 2, while simultaneously transmitting a proportional 4-20mA current signal to the safe area control system. This device is critical for process automation applications requiring certified intrinsic safety and reliable signal integrity.
