The PEPPERL & FUCHS KFD2-SR2-EX1.W is a two-channel intrinsic safety barrier from the K-System family, engineered for the galvanic isolation and processing of switching signals originating from hazardous areas. It converts signals from NAMUR proximity sensors or mechanical contacts into safe area potential-free relay outputs, ensuring compliance with explosion protection standards for critical process automation applications.
