This K-System isolated barrier, identified as KFD2-CD-EX1.PN, provides intrinsic safety for two-channel operation with NAMUR proximity sensors or mechanical switches located in hazardous areas. It conditions and transmits signals to the safe area via two isolated transistor outputs, ensuring galvanic isolation and robust line fault detection for critical process automation applications.
