This intrinsic safety barrier from the K-System family provides galvanic isolation and signal conditioning for two independent channels, enabling the safe operation of NAMUR proximity sensors or mechanical contacts located in hazardous areas. It converts input signals into isolated relay outputs for control systems in the safe area, incorporating line fault detection for enhanced system integrity. Engineered for process automation applications requiring SIL 2 functional safety.
