This K-System isolated barrier functions as a PROFINET gateway, providing intrinsic safety and galvanic isolation for a single channel of hazardous area signals. It converts intrinsically safe current or digital inputs from Zone 0/1/2 into PROFINET IO data for integration into safe area control systems, ensuring reliable and compliant signal transmission in process automation environments.
