This module is an intrinsic safety barrier from the K-System series, engineered to interface NAMUR proximity sensors or mechanical contacts located in hazardous areas with control systems in safe areas. It provides galvanic isolation and converts the input signal into a safe area relay output and a passive transistor output, ensuring reliable signal transmission while maintaining explosion protection. The unit incorporates line fault detection for enhanced system integrity.
