This K-System intrinsic safety barrier, identified as KFD2-SR2-EX1.W, is a single-channel switch amplifier engineered for the safe operation of conventional switches and NAMUR proximity sensors located in hazardous areas. It provides galvanic isolation between the hazardous and safe areas, converting input signals into a relay output for control systems while ensuring compliance with intrinsic safety standards.
