This device functions as a two-channel switch amplifier and isolated barrier within the K-System, specifically engineered for intrinsic safety applications in hazardous areas. It provides galvanic isolation between the safe and hazardous areas, enabling the connection of NAMUR proximity sensors or mechanical contacts to control systems in the safe area. The unit integrates line fault detection and offers relay outputs for reliable signal transmission and safety interlocking.
