This K-System KFD2 series intrinsically safe isolated barrier, identified as KFD2-SR2-EX1.W, provides a robust interface for operating discrete input devices located in hazardous areas. It ensures galvanic isolation and signal conditioning for NAMUR proximity sensors or mechanical contacts, transmitting a safe relay output to the control system in the non-hazardous area. Engineered for critical safety applications, it meets stringent explosion protection requirements for process automation.
