The PEPPERL & FUCHS KFD2-CD-EX1.PN is a single-channel intrinsic safety barrier from the K-System series, engineered for reliable signal conditioning of NAMUR proximity sensors in hazardous areas. It provides galvanic isolation between the intrinsically safe field circuit and the safe area control system, converting sensor signals into a robust relay output. This module ensures compliance with intrinsic safety standards for applications requiring precise position detection and limit switching in process automation environments.
