This K-System intrinsically safe isolated barrier, identified as KFD2-SR2-EX1.W, functions as a single-channel switch amplifier designed for the safe operation of loads in hazardous areas. It provides galvanic isolation between the hazardous and non-hazardous areas, enabling the connection of NAMUR proximity switches or mechanical contacts to control a relay output.
