This K-System intrinsic safety barrier provides galvanic isolation and signal conditioning for binary signals originating from hazardous areas. It functions as a two-channel switch repeater, transmitting signals from NAMUR sensors or mechanical contacts located in Zone 0, 1, or 2 to the safe area, while preventing the transfer of ignition-capable energy. The unit integrates line fault detection for enhanced system integrity.
