The PEPPERL & FUCHS KFD2-SR2-EX1.W is a single-channel intrinsic safety barrier from the K-System series, designed to interface NAMUR proximity sensors or mechanical switches located in hazardous areas with control systems in the safe area. It provides galvanic isolation and signal conditioning, ensuring compliance with intrinsic safety standards for reliable operation in process automation and safety instrumented systems.
