This is a 1-channel isolated barrier from the K-System KFD2 series, engineered for intrinsic safety applications in hazardous areas. It functions as a switch amplifier, converting signals from NAMUR sensors or dry contacts located in Zone 0, 1, or 2 into safe-area relay outputs. The module provides galvanic isolation and line fault detection, ensuring reliable and compliant operation for process control and instrumentation systems.
