The PEPPERL & FUCHS KFD2-SR2-EX1.W.SM is a K-System intrinsic safety barrier module, engineered for galvanic isolation and signal conditioning between safe area control systems and field devices located in hazardous areas. It provides a single-channel, intrinsically safe relay output for switching applications, ensuring compliance with explosion protection directives and suitability for Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) up to SIL 2.
