PEPPERL & FUCHS 2408190003 - Dual-Channel Switch Repeater Safety Barrier

This K-System series intrinsic safety barrier, model KFD2-SR2-EX1.W, provides galvanic isolation and signal conditioning for two independent channels. It enables the safe operation of NAMUR proximity sensors or dry contacts located in hazardous areas (Zone 0, 1, 2) by limiting energy to intrinsically safe levels. The unit converts hazardous area switch signals into two isolated relay outputs for control system integration in the safe area, incorporating line fault detection for enhanced system integrity.
