This device is a 2-channel intrinsic safety barrier from the K-System family, engineered to interface NAMUR proximity sensors or mechanical contacts located in hazardous areas with safe area control systems. It provides galvanic isolation between the hazardous and safe areas, ensuring signal integrity and maintaining explosion protection. The unit features two potential-free relay outputs per channel for status indication and control, suitable for applications requiring up to SIL 2 functional safety.
