The PEPPERL & FUCHS KFD2-CD-EX1.PN, identified by order code 321426, is an intrinsic safety PROFINET gateway from the K-System family. It is engineered to integrate intrinsically safe field devices located in hazardous areas with safe area PROFINET control systems. This module functions as a communication head-end for K-System intrinsic safety barriers, facilitating deterministic data exchange and providing galvanic isolation for critical process automation applications.
