This PROFINET/PROFIBUS gateway serves as the head station for the WEIDMULLER u-remote distributed I/O system. It provides deterministic data exchange between a higher-level fieldbus controller and the connected u-remote I/O modules, enabling modular and scalable automation architectures in industrial control applications.
